Community Guidelines

Swifty strives to be a safe and authentic place for Pros to list their services and for buyers to purchase services. While you use Swifty, remember we’re all human. Do not harass, threaten, or post inappropriate materials. Treat others with respect and kindly follow these guidelines and our Terms of Service.

Guidelines for customers

When hiring services on Swifty, please respect our pros. Make sure you:

  • Don’t use offensive or sexually suggestive language in your job request
  • Are honest about the details of your job request (no fake or fraudulent information)
  • Don't ask for illegal or illicit services
  • Don't request For full-time jobs or internship positions.
  • Dont' advertise or offer your own service that isn’t allowed.

Guidelines for sellers

When building your business on Swifty, make sure you:

  • Don’t use offensive or sexually suggestive language in your messages or on your profile.
  • Don’t offer fraudulent, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate services.
  • Are honest about your business details (like your name and business information).
  • Keep communications within the Swifty Chat or via Whatsapp if you gave permission for customers to contact you via other channels. In the unlikely event that there are any confusions or disputes with your client, which you require a Swifty Administrator to look into, the Swifty chat history will be among the evidence used for resolution.
  • Don’t create a test account.
  • Are qualified with skills, license or certificates (if applicable) to perform the services you’re offering on Swifty. Always list the services which you are qualified to provide.
  • Provide services, not products (although products accompanying services are permitted).
  • Don’t offer lending services without prior consent from Swifty.
  • Offer a service from available categories listed on Swifty. Check out our Household Essentials, Cleaning Services, Tutor, Beauty & Wellness, and many more categories to see what services are available. Should your categories are not listed, do contact Swifty, and we will add a new subcategory should it is applicable.
  • Work directly with the customer (no referral or third-party services without customer's consent).
  • Don’t ask customers to download additional apps or complete duplicate request forms outside of Swifty.
  • Don’t offer duplicate services.
  • Post only photos, videos, or portfolios that you have taken or created or have the copyright/permission of others to do so.

Guidelines for both customers and sellers

As you start, make sure you:

  • Are at least 16 years old.
  • Are located in Malaysia, either a national resident or residing with a valid visa.
  • Are honest when filling out your account information (i.e. name, NRIC or contact information).
  • Don’t barter or exchange a service for another service.
  • Make or receive payments in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

At Swifty, our goal is to enable anyone to find the right professional to accomplish any project, anywhere, at any time. Swifty, therefore, prohibits discrimination against professionals or customers based on age, disability, gender identity, marital status, medical condition, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or other improper bases.

Prohibited discrimination includes refusing to provide or accept pro services offered through the platform because of any of these characteristics, offering different pricing based on any of these characteristics, or any other conduct that improperly considers any of these characteristics. This prohibition also applies to the posting of content, such as reviews or profiles, on Swifty.

Any pro or customer who believes they have been discriminated against in violation of this policy should report their concern to Swifty. Pros or customers found to have violated this prohibition may lose access to Swifty. We’re looking forward to creating a friendly and encouraging community for everyone.
